In Brahmanbaria, the district celebrated the historic November 7 revolution and solidarity organized by BNP. At 11 am on Thursday organized by the deposed leaders of the district BNP organized a colorful rally from the front of the local district council building and circled the main main road of the city and ended at Loknath Roy Chowdhury Maidan of the city. Zahirul Haque Khokon, former general secretary of district BNP, spoke under the direction of Ali Azmer, former joint general secretary of district BNP and former president of district BNP, Hafizur Rahman Molla Kochi.
Zahirul Haque Khokon said that there was anarchy in the country after August 15 till November 6 in 1975. After the revolution was organized under the leadership of the martyred president Major Ziaur Rahman, the founder of nationalist BNP on November 7, Ziaur Rahman came to power with the aim of driving away the dictatorship of the past days from the country and establishing democracy.
The complete list of the convening committee of Brahmanbaria district BNP was published on November 4. In this, he strongly protested the fact that the party’s opportunistic junior leaders were placed on the top, the names of the senior leaders of the party were kept in the back saree and the party’s troubled leaders were not kept in the convening committee.
He said that those who have been placed in the convening committee have taken advantage of Awami League’s fascism for the last 16 years. They have served jail time in family assault cases. They have not been jailed in any party attack case, they all have stigma against them. In actual sense, those who have endured jail tyranny during the rule of the murderous Hasina’s government are today deprived of party posts. We make a strong demand to our only leader Tariq Rahman to organize the Brahmanbaria district BNP party with the correct information of all of us.
