In the presence of UP chairman of disaster management committee, government officials, CPP members, representatives of NGO organizations, political leaders, media persons and dignitaries organized by Galachipa upazila administration of Payra sea in coastal Patuakhali district on Thursday 24th October at 11 am in upazila hall room upazila executive officer Md. This emergency meeting was held under the chairmanship of Mizanur Rahman.
In order to deal with Cyclone ‘Dana’, various communities and animal resources including remote grazing areas should be brought to shelters and dry food along with early warning messages, medical teams prepared, control rooms, rescue teams with safe arrangements on the roads, boats powered by evangelists, electricity systems running. And various decisions are taken including keeping the sluice gates open for drainage.
