A press conference was held in Rangpur district on the occasion of the month-long national human papilloma virus (HPV) vaccination campaign for girls from October 25.

Through this campaign, HPV vaccination will be given to girls studying in class 5th to 9th and girls aged 10 to 14 years out of school with the help of health workers.

Rangpur District Civil Surgeon Dr. Mostafa Zaman Chowdhury spoke at a press conference organized by the Rangpur Civil Surgeon’s office at 3 pm on Tuesday (October 24) in the conference room of Rangpur Sadar Hospital. He said, 1 lakh 41 thousand 52 school-going people of 5th to 9th class and 4 thousand 34 girls of 10 to 14 years of the community will be given this vaccination in 8 upazilas of Rangpur district.

Rangpur Deputy Civil Surgeon Dr. Ruhul Amin and Dr. Mahabub along with print and electronic media journalists of Rangpur were present at this time.
