As part of the central program on Wednesday (October 23) at noon in front of the Comilla Press Club, they handed over a memorandum to the Chief Advisor through the Deputy Commissioner. Teachers from various colleges of the district participated in the program with banners, festoons and play-cards containing various demands. Under the chairmanship of Noore Alam Khandkar and moderated by Mir Md Sohail, the adviser of the organization Umme Salma, former president Md Rashedul Haque Khan, general secretary Md Nahidul Islam, Farhad Hossain Bhuia, Didarul Alam, Mosammat Shayla Sultana, Md Mizanur Rahman, Md Mamunur Rashid, spoke. At this time, the speaker said that the inter and degree teachers of the same college are getting government salary after being appointed in the same process. Moreover, the teachers of Honors-Masters colleges in the newly nationalized colleges have also got non-cadre status. Tertiary teachers and Kamil (Masters) grade level teachers in private madrasas are also being included in the MPO even though they are not in the manpower structure at the degree level.
