National Safe Road Day 2024 has been celebrated in Pabna with the theme “Pledge of students, safe roads for all”.
District Commissioner Md. The rally led by Mofizul Islam went around the main road and ended at the district administration office. After that a discussion meeting was held in the district administration conference room.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Sharif Ahmed, Executive Engineer of Roads and Public Ways Department Abul Mansoor Ahmed, AD of BRTA took part in these programs organized by the district administration. Abkdul Halim, Sadar Upazila Executive Officer Shamima Sultana, Assistant Commissioner Monirul Islam, Md. Waliur Rahman Rubel and others.
Speakers in the meeting said that safe roads are desirable for everyone. In order to keep the road safe, everyone including motorists, owners, passengers, pedestrians must be aware and obey the law. Public awareness should be increased for safe roads.
