A Union Parishad Chairman has been arrested from his own office in Bijoynagar, Brahmanbaria. In addition, 4 more Awami League leaders of the upazila have been arrested.
On Sunday, Bijoynagar Thana Police arrested them from different places of Bijoynagar Upazila. Mia’s son Md. Anwar Hossain Chowdhury (65). He was a member of Upazila Awami League.

Bijoynagar police station officer-in-charge Md Shahidul Islam confirmed the honesty of the arrest and said that the two accused in the sabotage case and the remaining two Awami League leaders have been investigated and arrested and preparations are being made to send them to the district police station. .
