The result of HSC examination 2024 held under Dinajpur Education Board has been released. The average pass rate in the HSC exam is 77.56 percent.
On Tuesday (October 15, 2024) at 11 am, the college inspector of the education board handed over the results to the journalists at the Dinajpur education board auditorium. Dinajpur Education Board Examination Controller Professor Mir Sajjad Ali said that 1 lakh 12 thousand 115 candidates participated in the HSC examination of 2024 held under the Education Board. Among them 86 thousand 954 candidates have passed. The average pass rate is 77.56 percent. Among the passed students, 14 thousand 295 got GPA 5. 6 thousand 185 male students and 8 thousand 110 female students among the students who obtained GPA 5.
In 2024, the number of colleges with 100% failure in HSC examination is 20 and the number of colleges with 100% pass is 15. Besides, 36 candidates were expelled. 31 thousand 561 candidates participated in science department and out of them 28 thousand 651 passed.
The average pass rate in science department is 90.78 percent. 52 thousand 635 out of 71 thousand 760 candidates have passed in humanities department.
The average pass rate in humanities is 73.35 percent. And 5 thousand 668 out of 8 thousand 794 candidates have passed in business education department. The average pass rate in business education department is 64.45 percent.
Dinajpur Education Board Examination Controller Professor Mir Sajjad Ali said that necessary measures will be taken against the colleges which failed 100%.
Dinajpur Education Board Assistant Controller of Examination Md Rezaul Karim Chowdhury and other officials and employees of the board were present during the announcement of the results.
