On the occasion of the World Sadachari Safety Day 2024, on the occasion of the World Sadachari Safety Day 2024, a discussion was organized by the District Administration, District Social Services Office and Disability Services and Aid Center at the Shaheed Abdur Razzak-Saif Mizan Memorial Hall of the Pirojpur District Commissioner’s office on Tuesday, October 15. The program was held, in the said discussion program under the chairmanship of Deputy Director of Pirojpur District Social Service Office Md. Iqbal Kabir, under the supervision of District Social Service Office Assistant Director Md. Ibrahim Khalil, Deputy Commissioner of Pirojpur Md. Ashraful Alam Khan gave a speech as the chief guest. Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Mohammad Salim Hossain, District Social Services Office Assistant Director Md. Zakir Hossain, Pirojpur Sadar Upazila Social Services Officer Md. Matiur Rahman, Disability Affairs Officer, Disability Help Center Priyanka Bhattacharya etc.
Speakers said in the event, if a visually impaired person has a white stick in his hand, then we who can see it can see it from a distance, then we can go ahead and help them, and if the car drivers see it, they slow down and help them cross the road. The speaker said that I will always extend my hand of support to the visually impaired.
