Agricultural materials have been distributed among the flood affected farmers in Barura, Comilla.
Upazila Executive Officer Nu-Emong Marma Mong was present as the chief guest at the inauguration of the program of distribution of agricultural materials mustard, seeds, fertilizers and pesticides among 100 farmers of the upazila by the initiative of upazila administration and upazila agriculture extension department on Wednesday 9th October at 11 am. Upazila Agriculture Officer Md Zahidul Islam presided over the event.
Salil Biswas, representative journalist of Daily Sangbad newspaper, Md Sharif Uddin, staff reporter of Daily Samajkanth newspaper, deputy assistant agriculture officer Mohammad Ali, Pradeep Das, Rabiul Altaf and other officials, employees and farmers from different areas were present. On this day, 50 kg of DAP fertilizer, fungicide and one packet of mustard seeds of 1 kg were distributed among one hundred farmers.
