Time magazine, the influential American magazine, has published their list of ‘Hundred Next 2024’. Nahid Islam, coordinator of the anti-discrimination student movement and advisor to the interim government, has taken a place in it.

Time magazine published this list on Wednesday (October 2). The magazine lists the emerging youth of the world every year. This time he got a place from Bangladesh.

Time magazine says about Nahid Islam, he helped remove one of the most powerful people in the world from power at the age of 26. Nahid Islam, studying sociology, is one of the student leaders of the movement against Sheikh Hasina across the country.

It is also said about him that he became more known to the common people after being tortured by the intelligence agencies. A few days later, he announced Sheikh Hasina’s resignation. After that, Sheikh Hasina left power on August 5 in the face of massive protests by the common people.

Dr. Nahid Islam’s presence in the advisory council of the interim government led by Yunus was also mentioned in Time magazine.
