Bangladesh girls got off to a good start by defeating Scotland in the opening match of the T20 World Cup. Chasing

the target of 120 runs given by Bangladesh at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium, the Scottish girls stopped at 103 runs.Nigar Sultana Jyoti’s team won by 16 runs.

This victory in the World Cup came after 10 years. 16 as a match and 4 as a tournament – Bangladesh saw victory after a long time in the Women’s T20 World Cup. Bangladesh last won the T20 World Cup in 2014 before losing to the Scottish. Bangladesh beat Ireland by 17 runs in Sylhet.

Bangladesh won the toss and went into bat in the opening match of the World Cup on Thursday (October 3). But the collection could not grow much. Jyoti’s team got a short capital of 119 runs for 7 wickets in the scheduled 20 overs. However, the bowlers won by capitalizing on this run. Scotland’s innings stopped in the run chase at 103 for 7 in 20 overs.
