Md Hassan , Islamic University Correspondent, Kushtia: Professor Dr. Sahinuzzaman the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering has been appointed new Proctor and Professor Dr. Iqbal Hossain the Department of Da’wah and Islamic Studies has been appointed new IIER Director at Islamic University, Kushtia.
On Wednesday (2 September) Acting Registrar HM Ali Hasan signed separate office order, to apponinted university’s Proctor and Institute of Islamic Education and Research Director.
Source of register office , Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Professor Dr. Sahinuzzaman has been appointed the new Proctor of Islamic University for the next one year. Besides, the Department of Da’wah and Islamic Studies, Professor Dr. Iqbal Hossain has been appointed as the Director of IIER (Institute of Islamic Education and Research) for the next three years to the joining date.
After the fall Awami League government in mass uprising of the students, former Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Sheikh Abdus Salam resigned on August 8, citing personal reasons. Some days later, former proctor Professor Dr. Shahadat Hossain Azad resigned citing personal reasons on August 17.
