During a courtesy meeting at the Deputy Commissioner’s office on Monday evening, the Deputy Commissioner introduced the representatives of the Culture Area to Md. Amirul Kayserar. Later, the representatives including Jahangir Alam Imrul highlighted the various activities of Heritage Comilla and handed over the folders published at various times to the District Administrator.
During this time, Sachin Devavarman’s house, town hall, Rani Kuthi and various traditional buildings and historical persons of Comilla were discussed.

These geniuses have taken Comilla to a unique height by using their talents. The arrival of many talented people has made this town bright. One of them is the national poet Kazi Nazrul Islam, the founder of Bard, prominent sociologist Dr. Akhtar Hamid Khan etc.
But with the passage of time, this tradition of honoring the virtuous has faded in many cases. And so the socio-cultural organization Heritage Comilla thinks that if this trend of honoring meritorious people is revived in all areas, world-class personalities will come out in Comilla in the future.
