The police have arrested the fanatical husband Rashid Jawaddar in connection with the strangulation of Banya Akter (25), a mother of two children, due to a family quarrel in Rajbari.
The incident took place in Matipara area of Ramkantpur of Rajbari Sadar Upazila in the early hours of September 23 (Monday).
Rashid Khaddar is son of Yusuf Sapur of Matipara of Ramkantpur Union of Rajbari Sadar Upazila.
The deceased is the daughter of Hanu Pramanik of Sohrab Mandalpara of Golanda upazila of Bananya Aktar district.
Md. Saiful Islam, the brother of Bananya who died in this incident, filed a murder case at Rajbari Sadar Police Station. Case No-26 of Rajbari Sadar Police Station.
Going to the surface, Yusuf Sapur’s family sources said that while waking up early in the morning, Flood fell on his head. Later, he was taken to Rajbari Sadar Hospital for treatment. The previous day, it was reported that there was a quarrel between husband and wife.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Rajbari Sadar Police Station Md. Mahmudur Rahman said that her husband Rashid Zoaddar has been arrested in connection with the murder of his wife Bonya.
In the preliminary investigation, it was revealed that her husband woke up early in the morning due to the sound of small children crying. Am I the only child or your child too? Husband Rashid Jawaddar killed his wife Banya by suffocating her during a discussion about this.
