The chief adviser will go to the United States by commercial flight, not by chartered flight to join the UN General Session. Delegation led by Muhammad Yunus.

Adviser to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs M Touhid Hossain gave this information at a press conference organized on Saturday (September 21) at noon. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs held this press conference regarding the participation of Bangladesh in the 79th session of the United Nations.

Tauhid Hossain said in the press conference that the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly will start the high-level debate from September 24. The Chief Adviser will arrive in New York on a commercial flight on September 23 to attend the session.

The foreign affairs adviser said, like in recent years, a delegation of more than a hundred members from Bangladesh will not visit New York on a chartered plane. Rather, delegations have been formed as limited as possible according to their respective affiliations or responsibilities. I will fly to New York two days earlier on a different flight to attend high-level meetings consistent with my responsibilities.

Chief advisor. Muhammad Yunus will stay in New York for three days and will leave for Bangladesh on September 27, said Tauhid Hossain.
