Every household is growing a variety of vegetables with fruits, herbs and poison free and organic fertilizers. Besides, water saving hanging gardens are being built in every house. They are raising cows, goats, poultry, small scale fish farming to support themselves. In addition, they have been trained by World Vision to meet the needs of their plantations by making organic fertilizers and earthworm compost fertilizers themselves. As a result, their children are meeting the nutritional needs of their children by eating toxin-free vegetables or fruits. They put a self-made dustbin in front of each house in order to throw the household garbage in a specific place.

According to the villagers, we have already managed to achieve 10 of the 15 indicators of environmental friendliness. We are continuing the activities of the remaining 5 indicators. We believe that the villagers of other unions, upazilas, districts will be encouraged to see the smart environment friendly village.
