Donations to Martyrs’ Family in Laksam Journalist’s Meeting Fair and Anti-Discrimination Movement

A joyous gathering of journalists from Laksam-Manoharganj in Comilla was held. On Monday (September 16) at noon in the hall room of Laxam Green View Hotel, this meeting fair was organized by Md. Mizanur Rahman Sumon, a distinguished businessman from Makkah, Saudi Arabia, and in the presence of journalists.
On behalf of Mizanur Rahman Sumon, in the meeting of journalists and the donation ceremony to the martyred and distressed families of the anti-discrimination movement, Tk 1 lakh cash was given to the family of Abu Yusuf of Ichapura Satghar village of Gobindpur Union, killed in the anti-discrimination movement, and 50,000 taka to Hossain and Alamgir who were affected by the fire in Khila Paschim Batabaria village of Manoharganj. A donation of Tk 1 lakh was given to Rabiul Hossain, who is suffering from kidney disease of Shibpur village of the upazila.
Mizanur Rahman Sumon said that in this flood, we have delivered gifts to the door of the affected people through a volunteer team of more than five hundred members in three upazilas. Also, I identify the problems of troubled people and try to help them with appropriate evidence. I monitor everything from abroad so that there is no irregularity in our activities. Journalists of the country including Laksam-Manoharganj and Comilla have sincerely cooperated with me in the implementation of various humanitarian activities in the past days. He thanked the journalists for their sincere cooperation and good advice in the implementation of various humanitarian activities in the future as in the past.
At that time the journalists working in Laxam were Abdul Quddus, Mujibur Rahman Dulal, Md. Kamal Uddin, Farooq Al Sarah, Md. Monir Ahmed, Arifur Rahman Swapan, Md. Abul Kalam, Md. Abdur Rahim, Humayun Kabir Manik of Manoharganj, Abdur Rahim, Abdul Baki Milan and Laxam and Journalists working in Manoharganj upazila were present.
