Patuakhali Galachipa in the students boycotted classes for 3 days to demand the resignation of the Madrasa Superintendent due to various corruption and irregularities.
From Sunday to Wednesday, September 11, Chota Kajal Hossainia Dakhil Madrasa, superintendent of that institution. The program continues, including the blockade of madrasas demanding the resignation of Abu Zafar Saleh.
Dhaka University student Sabbir Ahmed, UP member Monir Dafadar, Mosharef Hossain Biswas, Babul Khan, Faisal Howladar and others spoke in the rally.
The speakers said that Abu Zafar Saleh, working as the superintendent of the madrasa, has caused damage to the institution by doing various corruptions and irregularities including skipping classes for unnecessary reasons, teaching classes with fake teachers.
At the moment he has no right to work in the company. Students will not return to class until he resigns and our agitation will continue.
In this regard, Dhaka University student Sabbir Ahmed filed a written complaint with the Upazila Nirbahi Officer, demanding the resignation of the madrasa superintendent.
Copies of 350 people’s signatures have also been given along with the complaint letter.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md. Mohiuddin Al Helal said, necessary measures will be taken subject to investigation.
