Milan Hossain Madhu (45) and Manju Pramanik (44) were killed by miscreants in central bus terminal area of ​​Pabna city. The incident took place in front of Halim Hotel at the city’s bus terminal on Wednesday (September 4) morning. Deceased Milan Hossain Madhu is the son of Arman Sheikh of Mujahid Club area of ​​East Shalgariya of Pabna town and Manju Pramana is the son of Noor Ali of East Raghabpur area. Madhu used to collect transportation charges in the bus terminal area and Manju was an autorickshaw driver.

Talking to the deceased’s relatives and hotel employees, it is said that Milan and Manju went to have breakfast at the hotel in the morning. Some miscreants stabbed them when they went in front of the hotel. At this time they fell down in front of the hotel. The people around rescued them and took them to Pabna General Hospital where the doctor on duty declared them dead.

Locals said that this killing may have been done to take possession of Masum Bazaar and bus terminal area and take out drug dealers.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Pabna Sadar Police Station Roshan Ali said that two bodies have been recovered. The body has been kept at Pabna General Hospital morgue for post-mortem. One worker used to collect another transport fee. He also said that those who killed were identified drug dealers in the area and those who died were also drug users.
