In Gazipur’s Kaliakoir, locals have formed a human chain in protest against the attack on the businessmen for refusing to pay donations. In the morning, this human chain was made in the area of ​​Mouchak bus station of Gazipur on the Dhaka-Tangail highway.
Masud Parvez, President of the Mouchak Market Business Association, said that for the past few days, some terrorists have been demanding money from the beehive market traders. When the businessmen refused to pay the subscription, a group of 15/20 terrorists attacked the businessmen on 30th August in the afternoon. In this, at least 7 businessmen were injured, including two stabbings. The injured have been admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital and local hospitals. When a few students were present at the scene and prevented them, the demanders also attacked them. In this regard, a complaint has been filed on behalf of Mouchak Bazar Business Committee at Kaliakair Police Station. Businessmen, students and locals have formed a human chain to demand the quick arrest of extortionists and attackers.
