Rice distribution was held among the poor fishermen of the union of Galachipa upazila of Patuakhali. On Thursday, August 29, around eleven o’clock, EP Chairman Md. Habibur Rahman Biswas, Upazila Nirbahi Officer’s Representative Village Development Officer (Tag Officer) Mahabub Hasan Shibli distributed 30 kg of rice among the fishermen of different categories.
According to the office sources, out of the total number of 691 fishermen in Ghazalia Union, 390 people have been allocated a total of 11 tons and 7 kg.
On this occasion, all UP members, Ghazalia Union Youth Party Convener Md. Rafiqul Islam, (Mukul), Joint Convener, Md. Munjur Islam and the leaders of affiliated organizations were present. Various media persons were also present at the time.
