Hundreds of examinees have entered the secretariat with a procession to demand the publication of HSC results through subject mapping without re-examination.

Around 2 pm on Tuesday, they stormed through the Secretariat gate towards Zero Point and entered, ignoring the police barricade. They entered the secretariat and started marching between buildings 6 and 11.

They entered the secretariat in a rickshaw carrying Mike. At that time, Hasnat Abdullah, the coordinator of the anti-discrimination student movement, was seen restraining them.

The candidates have demanded that the results be published through subject mapping based on the results of the already taken exams and SSC instead of re-examination.

Among the protestors are students of Dhaka College, Government Bangla College, Dhaka State College, Government Tolaram College of Narayanganj, Mohammadpur Government College, Borhan Uddin Post Graduate College, Government Science College, Government Kabi Nazrul College and various colleges around Dhaka.

Students ‘our demand, our demand! Mante huho Mante huho’, ’22-23-K Phule Mala’ is why we are neglecting’ slogans.

The candidates said that they will not leave the secretariat until their demands are met. Sijan Ahmed, a student of Government Tolaram College, said, “It has been a long time since we were able to give only 7 exams. Publishing new routines will take more time to complete the test. Then we will not get any time to prepare for the entrance exam.

He said, we want our results to be published through subject mapping like this based on the seven exams that were conducted, those exams and SSC exam results. No new tests should be conducted.

Another candidate Navadwip Chowdhury said, we have been protesting for four days. Many of our brothers are still in hospital after being injured in the anti-discrimination movement. If they take the exam now, they will not be able to participate in the exam. The main merit is checked through the admission test in honors, without re-taking the test, we should be given enough time to prepare for the admission test.
