Tariqat Federation welcomed the interim government

Nobel laureate in peace. The Bangladesh Tariqat Federation has welcomed the interim government headed by Muhammad Yunus.

On Tuesday (August 13), Tariqat Federation Chairman Syed Najeebul Bashar Maizbhandari and Acting Secretary General Muhammad Ali Farooqui welcomed them in a statement.

It is said in the statement that the leaders of the Tariqat sought forgiveness for the souls of the students, journalists, policemen and children who have been killed so far in the anti-discrimination student movement. At the same time, he called for justice to be ensured through fair investigation of each murder.

The statement also said, “In the meantime, some miscreants have attacked, vandalized and set fire to various darbars, dargahs, shrines and khankas in Bangladesh, due to which we are extremely concerned.” At the same time, attacks on places of worship of different religions, houses and public and private institutions and museums of supporters of independence cannot be accepted in any way. I demand the interim government to bring law and order in the country under immediate strict and effective measures.

Besides, the leaders of the anti-discrimination student movement and the chief advisors of the government called on all the advisors to be aware of this so that no vested interests can destroy the achievements of the students and flow in the other direction.
