University, college, school students as well as Madrasa students also participated in cleanliness and traffic police work. Students gather at one place first thing in the morning. Later they divided into groups and started cleaning work at different points of the city. During this time, the students carried out the work of traffic police to maintain order and clean up the district Sharar, which suffered from vandalism and fire. People from all walks of life applauded the work of the students. Their aim is to make the entire district a livable city through this program. As long as there is dirt in the district town and the traffic police are not working, they will do this work in the service of the people. The students also said, ‘Hindu devotees are guarding the temple so that they can go about their work and religious rituals without any disturbance. So that we all forget all the differences and want to move Bangladesh forward as a safe state. Shakib, a student of Noakhali University of Science and Technology, said that there is no traffic police in the entire city since the uprising. In this situation, it is our responsibility to bring the city residents back to normal. From this sense of responsibility, I have come down to control the traffic congestion on the road.
