BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia said, we do not want destruction, we want peace. Students are our future. Youth should work to realize their dreams.

Khaleda Zia said this while joining the BNP rally in Nayapaltan on Wednesday (August 7) ​​shortly before 4:30 pm.

Khaleda Zia said, this victory has brought us to a new struggle. Now we have to build prosperous Bangladesh. Let’s strengthen the hands of the youth.

Earlier, the assembly started with the recitation of Quran on a temporary platform in front of the central office at half past three in the afternoon. Meanwhile, a minute of silence was observed in memory of the students and political leaders who died in the anti-discrimination student movement.

It can be seen on the ground in Nayapaltan and surrounding areas, the whole area has been flooded with activists around the rally. The activists have gathered with piecemeal processions. They were seen holding the national flag and festooning the banners of various leaders and activists. The entire area is full of slogans.

BNP Standing Committee member Selima Rahman spoke at the beginning of the rally presided over by BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir. Acting Chairman of BNP Tariq Rahman addressed the rally as the chief guest virtually.
