Iran and its allies are determined to avenge the killing of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh. They can take this revenge at any time. In such a situation, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken has warned that Iran and Hezbollah may attack the territory of Israel within the next 24 hours.
Citing sources, the US-based Axios publication reports that Blinken said in a conference with G7 leaders that Iran and Hezbollah could attack Israel by Monday.
Sources also said that the United States has confirmed that Iran and Hezbollah will attack. However, the country is not aware of the exact time of the attack.
Earlier, a report by the British newspaper Telegraph claimed that the Israeli intelligence agency Mossad had hired Iranian agents to kill Ismail Haniya, the head of the Palestinian independence armed group Hamas in Gaza. Their members planted bombs in three rooms of Haniya’s temporary residence in Tehran.
According to media reports, the assassination of Ismail Haniya was planned months earlier. Iran’s President Ibrahim Raisi died in a helicopter crash in May this year. Then Haniya went to Tehran to attend Raisi’s funeral. Mossad planned to kill him at that time.
