Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal’s Dhanmondi residence was set on fire by angry mob. At the same time, the fire service received reports of arson in hundreds of places across the country, including multiple police stations and Awami League offices.
Rozina Akhter, duty officer of fire service headquarters, said that at this moment we have received reports of fire from many places in Dhaka. Among them, there are fire incidents in many places including Home Minister Dhanmondi’s residence, Adabar police station, Khilkhet police station, Postgola, Uttara, Mirpur, Tejgaon.
There were also reports of arson in many places across the country. We are having a very busy time. The official said that the details will be given later.
