A 10-day farmer training is being conducted through partner school and farmer service center at Akkelpur in Jaipurhat.
Upazila Agriculture Officer Imran Hossain presided over the concluding day of farmer training organized by Upazila Agriculture Department at Gopinathpur Paschim Para village of Akkelpur today. Deputy Director of District Agriculture Extension Directorate Rahela Parveen, Additional Deputy Director Mojibur Rahman, Sahidul Islam, Partner Field School Project Monitoring Officer Masud spoke as the chief guests. 25 farmers and women farmers from different villages participated in the event. In the training, the farmers are given various techniques and suggestions for rice cultivation. Through this school they can solve their various problems.
