The admission process of Class XI of the academic year 2024-25, which has been suspended due to the ongoing situation, will resume from July 28. Will continue until August 1. In addition, the classes of the students admitted in class 11 in that academic year will start on August 6. On Wednesday (July 24), Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee President Prof. Tapan Kumar Sarkar announced in a circular that the college admission process for students selected through online in the 2024-25 academic year in class 11 is closed due to unavoidable reasons.
The notification also said that the period of admission program of the related educational institutions of the country has been rescheduled from July 28 to August 1.
As per the admission policy, the admission process for Class XI starts from July 15. The admission process was supposed to end on July 25. However, due to the closure of educational institutions from July 18, the admission process was suspended.
It should be noted that 16 lakh 72 thousand 153 students have passed the SSC and equivalent examinations in 11 education boards of the country this year. About 1000 more students passed the re-verification of results. However, there are about 2.5 lakh seats available for admission in Class XI across the country. This time the pass rate was 83.04 percent. One lakh 82 thousand 129 people got GPA 5.
