Mymensingh District Intelligence Branch was felicitated on Tuesday 9th July for various successful operations.
In the June/2024 monthly welfare meeting, IGP and Superintendent of Police gave awards to the members of District Intelligence Branch Mymensingh for their various performances.
Performance: 1, In last June/24th month, 03 accused of Saurabh murder case were arrested under the sensational Mantala bridge of Kotwali police station.
Performance: 2, 02 arms and drug dealers were arrested from the rented house of the accused Salim in Purohit Para under Kotwali police station in last June/24 and 01 pistol, 03 revolvers, 03 domestic sharp weapons, 47 Cocktail, 279 narcotic injections and 05 bottles of Phensidyl were recovered.
Performance: 3, last June/24th month behind Vatikashar Mission School under Kotwali Model Police Station Md. Alauddini Khandarkar Badal (65) of Aliya Madrasa Road deceased wife: Abdul Ohde Khandarkar’s auto garage and son of fugitive accused Mushfiqur Rahman Limon died in Maskanda Gansha Mor Sakin under Kotwali Model Police Station. 01 autorickshaw and motorcycle thief was arrested from inside the house boundary of Sadikur Rahman and 06 autorickshaws and 01 motorcycle were recovered from his custody.

Abdul Jalil was given a special award by Hon’ble IGP and Hon’ble Superintendent of Police, Mymensingh at the Monthly Crime Conference June/2024.
