On the first day of the new Arabic year 1446 Hijri, the veil of the Holy Kaaba Sharif was changed.
 On Sunday (July 7), a team of 159 people removed the old gilaftis and installed new gilaftis at the King Abdulaziz Complex for Kiswar.
 More than 200 experienced people participated in the work.They completed the entire work in just a few hours.
 According to the information, 120 kg of gold, 100 kg of silver and 1000 kg of silk have been used in the new gilaf.
 One piece of gilaf weighs 1,350 grams. And their height is 14 meters long. Gilafty has motcher parts. Besides, a separate screen is made for the Kaaba door.
