To ensure smooth and orderly operation of traffic system, 7 traffic police boxes have been inaugurated at important road intersections of Cumilla city.
Comilla City Mayor Dr. Tahsin Bahar Suchona inaugurated the traffic police box at Kandirpar intersection of the city on Saturday (June 28) noon.
Cumilla Superintendent of Police Abdul Mannan, Additional Superintendent of Police Mongnethwai Marma and Mohammad Nazmul Hasan and others were present at the time.
In the planning and implementation of Superintendent of Police Abdul Mannan, 7 traffic police were established in Alekharchar, Shamangacha, Kandirpar, Idgah Mor, Chawkbazar, Tomchambridge, Paduarbazar areas of the city. This initiative has been taken to ensure smooth and orderly operation of the traffic system, increase the quality of traffic services by ensuring the welfare of the traffic members and increase the mutual correspondence between the traffic police and service users, said the district police.
