Alhaj Amir Hossain Amu (MP), member of advisory council of Awami League, coordinator and spokesperson of 14 parties, distributed relief among the families affected by Cyclone Remal in Nalchiti, Jhalkathi.
On Wednesday (June 12) morning, dry food was distributed among 1000 families of the upazila, 10 kg of rice among 500 families, cash money among 50 families and cotton wool among 104 families of the upazila at Nalchiti Upazila Parishad Auditorium. He attended as the chief guest and distributed relief materials among the affected families. Upazila executive officer Md Nazrul Islam presided over the event.
Upazila Parishad Chairman Bir Muktijoddha was also present at the time. Siddiqur Rahman, Nalchiti Municipal Mayor Bir Muktijoddha. Waheed Khan, Kulkathi UP Chairman HM Akhtaruzzaman Bachchu, Upazila Project Implementation Officer Bijan Krunch Kharati and others.
