 Faruk Ahmed Khan, son of freedom fighter deceased Abdul Aziz Khan, was elected president of Kumarkhali upazila branch of “Sons and generations of freedom fighters” and artist Kaushik Ahmed Chayan, son of freedom fighter Mahmud Hossain Manu, was elected general secretary.
On 7th June 2024, Friday night, the 11-member committee was announced for 1 year after the discussion of all those present at Kumarkhali’s Karitala. Respectively:- Vice-President Saiful Islam, Harun Ur Rashid, Joint General Secretary Babul Hossain Pir, Organizational Secretary Abul Kalam, Finance Secretary Lovely Sultana Rupa, Office Secretary Sajib Hossain, Publicity and Publication Secretary Alam Hossain, Member AS Sharafat Ali Sultan And Anik Hossain.
The event was presided over by Kushtia District Sangamri General Secretary Sheikh Subhin, District President Md. Habibur Rahman.
