Md. Aminul Islam – Kazi Md. Mustafizur Rahman panel has been elected president and Kazi Md. Mustafizur Rahman (Dulal) general secretary in the ‘Executive Parishad 2024-2026’ election of Rangpur Taxes Bar Association, an organization of income tax lawyers of Greater Rangpur. After counting the votes, Chief Election Commissioner Advocate Md Tofazzal Hossain officially announced the results.
Before this, last June 06, Thursday, Rangpur City Corporation’s Kachari Bazar, the second floor of Kar Bhavan, the organization’s office was held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. A panel, Md. Aminul Islam – Kazi Md. Mustafizur Rahman Parishad and Md. Ibrahim Khalil Ullah, Md. Harunar Rashid Manu, Md. Rezaul Islam Sujan and Md. Golam Morshed contested for the positions of president, general secretary, deputy general secretary and treasurer respectively. Out of total 85 voters, 77 cast their votes. In the election Md Aminul Islam-Kazi Md Mustafizur Rahman panel, Md Aminul Islam as president, Kazi Md Mustafizur Rahman (Dulal) as general secretary, Md Zafar Riaz as treasurer and candidate Md Rezaul Islam Sujan as deputy general secretary were elected with majority.
Besides, Md. Saiful Haque as vice president and AKM Safiqul Islam Santu, Md. Rafiqul Islam Babul, Md. Moshiar Rahman, Ad. Zakia Sultana Chaiti, Md. Anwarul Islam Mondal Liton, Md. Masudur Rahman Chowdhury were elected unopposed.
