On the initiative of Bangladesh Awami League Qatar branch, discussion meeting and doa mahfil was held in memory of all martyrs on International Mother Language Day on 21st February. On the occasion of Mahan Ekushe February, a large discussion meeting was held on Friday night on 23rd February at Dhaka Hotel in Doha on prayer and mother language. Mr. Nazrul Islam, Honorable Mr. Bangladesh Embassy in Qatar, spoke as the chief guest in the discussion meeting. Bangladesh Awami League Qatar branch president Shafiqul Quader presided over and joint general secretary Badrul Alam managed. General Secretary of Bangladesh Awami League Qatar Branch Engineer Abu Raihan, President of Bangladesh Community in Qatar Engineer Anwar Hossain Akand, Vice President of Qatar Awami League Hasan Mahmud, Shiv Dutt, Organizational Secretary Mithu Bepari, Finance Secretary Badrul Islam and others spoke.
