Comillastha Barura Jankalyan Samity Standing Committee’s organizational activities, committee reorganization and various discussion meetings were held yesterday Friday (February 16) at 7:30 pm at Hotel Oasis located in Comilla Tomcham Bridge.
The program started with recitation of Quran. Munir Hossain, Principal of Narayanganj Kaladi Shahajdi Jamia Kamil Madrasa, conducted the program and gave the welcome speech, General Secretary of Comilla Shiksha Board Model College GM Farooq Bablu, President of Comilla Barura Jankalyan Samiti, Principal Safiqul Amin Patwari presided over the ceremony.
The new committee was formed through open discussion and voting. A seven-member plenary committee was announced. The term of this committee will be two years. The committee was announced by Mizanur Rahman Bhuiyan, coordinator of Comillastha Barura Jankalyan Samiti and secondary education officer of Sirajdikhan Upazila of Munshiganj district. Advisor is Education Board Model College Lecturer GM Farooq Bablu, President is Rachiya Bagber Alim Madrasa Principal Safiqul Amin Patwari, Vice President Narayanganj District Kaladi Shahajdi Jamia Kamil Madrasa Principal Munir Hossain, General Secretary Comilla Zilla Parishad Member Jasim Uddin, Organizing Secretary Sonar Bangla The names of college lecturer Anwar Hossain, Finance Secretary Comilla Commerce College lecturer Shah Jalal and Publicity Secretary journalist Sujan Majumdar were revealed.
The newly formed committee president Principal Safiqul Amin Patwari said, this organization is doing humanitarian work. I want to stand by the people of Barura. General Secretary Comilla Zilla Parishad member Jasim Uddin said, the responsibility given to me. I want to advance this organization with everyone’s cooperation. I want to work for the people of Barura.
Comillasth Barura Public Welfare Association Coordinator, Munshiganj District Sirajdikhan Upazila Secondary Education Officer Mizanur Rahman Bhuiya said that the newly formed committee will give new gifts from the side of the people of Barura. And organizational processes will be stronger.
Faisal Rahman Bhuiyan, Mahi Hossain Raihan Hossain and others were present on this occasion. The event concluded with a final meal and photo session.
