Prime Minister left Dhaka for Munich

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has left Dhaka for Munich, Germany. A Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight carrying the Prime Minister and her entourage left Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 11:13 am on Thursday (February 15). He is going there on the invitation of the president of the Munich Security Conference. Prime Minister’s Deputy Press Secretary MM Imrul Kayes Rana confirmed the matter. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will meet Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina during her visit to Munich. Discussions on ending the ongoing Ukraine war will be important in the meeting. However, this meeting will not have any effect on Moscow’s relationship with Dhaka, said Foreign Minister Dr. Hasan Mahmud. He said this at a press conference organized around the Prime Minister’s visit to Germany in the conference room of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Wednesday (February 14) afternoon. The Foreign Minister said that the Prime Minister participated in the Munich Security Conference in 2017 and 2019. He will leave Munich on the night of February 18 and reach Dhaka on the morning of February 19. The annual Munich Conference on international security has been held in Munich since 1963 with the motto of world peace through dialogue. The 60th session of the Munich Security Conference will be held from February 16 to 18.
