The foundation anniversary and seminar was held on the occasion of the first foundation anniversary of Patuakhali Blood Agency (PBA), a voluntary organization of young people.
On Saturday (February 3) at 11 o’clock in the Dr. Athar Uddin Auditorium of Patuakhali Press Club Bhavan, the chief guest was Zilla Parishad Chairman Advocate Md. Patuakhali Blood Agency (PBA). Hafizur Rahman Hafiz said voluntary blood donation to a dying patient is a noble and humanitarian act. This commitment to humanity and service cannot be turned into a “business” in any way. All members of the organization should be service minded and humane. Blood money cannot be taken in the name of service or any kind of transaction should be avoided and human service should be done with sincere importance.

In the last one year of establishment of the organization, 70 members have been able to donate 150 bags of blood to various patients, said the president of the organization. Asibul Islam said.
