Awami League’s nominated boat symbol candidate for Pirojpur-1 constituency, Fisheries and Livestock Minister SM Rezaul Karim MP said that the January 7 election will be an election against corruption and terrorism. He said this in the speech of the chief guest at an election meeting at the town club ground of Pirojpur Sadar in the constituency on Wednesday afternoon yesterday.

SM Rezaul Karim said, if you want the development of the country, the development of the area, there is no alternative to the boat marker. The boat is the mark of Bangabandhu, the mark of Sheikh Hasina, the boat is the mark of freedom. Sheikh Hasina will become the prime minister again if she votes for the boat brand. If he becomes the prime minister, the country will develop as well as our Pirojpur 1 seat (Pirojpur, Nazirpur, Indurkani) will also develop.

He also said that the people of Pirojpur 1 Constituency Awami League, Hindu people, including the local people, independent candidate Eagle Marker terrorists are giving various threats and intimidation. They are supporters of the boat, they will break the arms and legs of the voters. But they have no reason to be afraid of these threats. BGB has come down, army will come down. If the terrorist eagle forces of independent candidates prevent anyone from voting, then the law enforcement forces of the government will take action against the terrorists.

District Awami League vice president, Aktaruzzaman Fulu presided over the said election meeting, various leaders of district Awami League and organ organizations gave speeches.

Bangladesh Awami League National Committee Member Ed Chandicharan Pal, Awami League leader and former District and Sessions Judge Abdus Salam Shikder, District Awami League Vice President Advocate Abdur Razzak Khan Badsha, District Bar Association President Sardar Farooq Ahmed, Pirojpur Sadar were present on the stage. Upazila Chairman SM Bayezid Hossain, Joint General Secretary of District Jubo League Ziaul Ahsan Zia, President of District Secchsevak League Russell Parvez Raja, Vice President Syed Imran Hossain, Joint General Secretary Aminul Islam Amin Mostafa and others.
It is noted that the Member of Parliament of the reserved women’s seat of Pirojpur expressed his solidarity in favor of the boat candidate from the said meeting.
