The expulsion order of Patuakhali University of Science and Technology (Pabiprabi) Chhatra League President Md. Arafat Islam Khan Sagar has been revoked.
In an urgent decision of the central parliament of Bangladesh Chhatra League, his (Sagar) expulsion order was conditionally withdrawn last Tuesday (January 2). This decision was announced in a press note signed by Bangladesh Chhatra League office secretary Meftahul Islam Panth. According to the press note, his dismissal has been revoked on the condition that he will not be involved in any activities against the order and dignity of the organization in the future.
It is to be noted that Arafat Islam Sagar was temporarily dismissed from the post of president of the Chhatra League on September 29 due to several negative activities including the assault of the manager of a contractor company by a supporter of Sagar on September 23 last year.
