Tangail Correspondent: As part of the non-cooperation movement programme, leaflets have been distributed by the Zilla Mahila Dal to encourage people to abstain from voting in the government’s bogus election. Leaflets were distributed among various shopkeepers and passers-by in Tangail Court Chatwar area on Thursday 28th December.
As part of the program announced by the Center, Tangail District Women’s Party President Nilufar Yasmin Khan, General Secretary Adv. Roxy Mehdi, Organizing Secretary Sultana Bilquis Lata, Office Secretary Monira Jannat and other leaders attended the leaflet distribution program.
The leaders said that these farcical elections should be boycotted, people are discouraged by the fact that none of you will go to the polls unless the elections are held under a caretaker government.
