Election yard meeting of boat candidate Abu Zafar Mohammad Shafiuddin Shamim was held at Rajamara, Barura, Comilla.
Upazila Parishad Vice Chairman and Upazila Awami League Vice President Md. Kamal Hossain was present as the chief guest in the courtyard meeting under the chairmanship of Gazi Wahidul Islam, president of Awami League and Raktarna Pravasi Forum and Gazi Foundation, in Ward No. 3 of Upazila No. 4 South Khoshbas Union on Wednesday night, December 27. Former general secretary of Barura Upazila Chhatra League and joint convener of Upazila Awami Jubo League Nasir Uddin Mihir, former president of Upazila Chhatra League and upazila Jubo League leader Gazi Md Delwar Hossain were present as special guests.
Also present were union Awami League leader Md. Abdul Mannan, former convener of Barura Municipal Chhatra League Golam Farooq Rubel, general secretary of Saudi Arabia Uttar Pradesh Awami Jubo League Aminul Islam Amin, expatriate Jubo League leader in Saudi Arabia Sohel Hossain, president of Khoshbas South Union Chhatra League Faisal Hossain, acting General Secretary Faisal Ahmed, Awami League leader Abdul Karim Chairman, Humayun Kabir, along with the leaders of the local Awami League affiliates were present.
Before the courtyard meeting, the chief guest cut the ribbon and officially opened the electoral office of Nawat. After the discussion sweets were distributed among all.
