Auto rickshaw driver’s throat cut body recovered

Bhola Charfassion The police recovered the body of an auto-rickshaw driver named Harun (18).
The body was recovered from the Meghna river bank of Hamidpur village of Ward No. 4 of Madras Union of Upazila on Wednesday (December 20) around 9 am.
The deceased is the son of Manu Palawan of Ward No. 2 of Hazariganj Union of Harun Upazila.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Charfassion Police Station Shakhawat Hossain said that around 9 am on Wednesday, locals informed the police after seeing the body of auto-rickshaw driver Harun lying on the bank of the Meghna River in Ward No. 4 of Hamidpur village of Madras Union of the upazila.  On receiving the news, the police recovered the body from the spot and brought it to the police station.
He also said that it is initially believed that the body was left at that place after being killed by throat slitting in another place.  The body has been sent to Bhola Sadar Hospital morgue for post-mortem.
