Full formation of Barura Upazila Corruption Prevention Committee

The Anti-Corruption Commission has reconstituted the 9-member Barura Upazila Anti-Corruption Committee as per section 17 (g) of the Anti-Corruption Commission Act 2004 to create a sense of honesty and loyalty and to create public awareness against corruption. Chittagong Divisional Office. Khoshbas High School and College principal Md. Shah Alam as president, cultural activist Azhar Sumon as general secretary, Barura upazila anti-corruption committee as vice-presidents are Tarun Kumar Acharya, assistant professor of Payalgacha Degree College, Begum Rozina Khandkar, senior teacher of Talagram Tareni Charan Laha High School.  

The members are – Barura Bazar prominent businessman Md Abdul Momin Saudagar, Khoshbas High School and College teacher Md Nazrul Islam, Deora Secondary School retired teacher Md Abdus Sattar, businessman and social activist Shakila Zaman and social activist retired teacher Begum Parveen Akhtar.

The committee will take over from the previous committee on December 6, 2023. The term of this committee will be 03 (three) years.
