USEP Rangpur Region Employer Committee has been formed. On Tuesday (December 12) in the conference room of Rangpur Chamber of Commerce, through a discussion meeting, the employer committee of USEP Rangpur region was formed. The main objective of setting up the employer committee of USEP Rangpur region is to provide employment to the trained graduates in different occupations of USEP Rangpur region, create a pleasant work environment, provide apprenticeship training and also help in creating modern and up-to-date training curriculum for increasing the productivity of the industry. Md. Asaduzzaman Mia, Honorable Head of TVET Institute of USEP Rangpur region gave a welcome speech at the meeting.
At the beginning of the formation of the committee, Regional Manager of USEP Rangpur region, Md. Rafiqul Islam discussed in detail the activities of USEP Bangladesh and USEP Rangpur region. In the meeting, the conditions for the formation of the employers’ committee of the USEP region were discussed.
Md Abdullah Al Farooq Sarkar Manager Billing Leather Products Limited, Md Hasan Ali Manager Rangpur Foundry Limited, Md Shibli Sadiq Papon Manager Rangpur Dairy Food Products Limited, Md Rubayet Hossain Khan Director Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce Rangpur, Md Tarifur Rahman Director Rangpur Chamber of Commerce Industry, Rangpur, Md Saiful Alam Director Rangpur Chamber of Commerce Industry, Rangpur and Md Akbar Ali President Rangpur Chamber of Commerce Industry, Rangpur along with representatives of other employer organizations. A total of 20 employers and their representatives were present in the meeting. Md. Akbar Ali, President Rangpur Chamber of Commerce Industry, USEP Rangpur Region Employers Committee Chairperson was nominated and Md. Abu Hena Rezaul Karim, Senior Vice President Rangpur Chamber of Commerce Industry was nominated as Vice Chairperson. Md. Akbar Ali, President Rangpur Chamber of Commerce Industry, thanked everyone for being nominated as the Chairperson of USEP Rangpur Region Employer Committee and said that Rangpur Chamber of Commerce Industry has always been and will be with USEP Rangpur Region.
At the end, Md. Rafiqul Islam, regional manager of USEP Rangpur region, thanked everyone and announced the end of the meeting.
