Election Commissioner (EC) Begum Rasheda Sultana commented that who will strike, who will block, who will not, Election Commission will not be able to do anything. He made this comment in the preparatory meeting of Dinajpur, Thakurgaon, Panchagarh and Nilphamari District Returning Officers, Assistant Returning Officers and other officials related to the elections on the occasion of the upcoming elections at the Rangpur District Commissioner’s conference room on Friday morning.

There will be a beautiful, free and acceptable election in the country in accordance with the constitution. He said that this situational meeting with all those related to the election is for the 12th national parliament election that will be held on January 7. We are the administration. My main aim today is to convey this message so that everyone can work together in the upcoming elections.

The EC also said that the role of the media is very important for the peaceful conduct of elections. Therefore, he sought the cooperation of the media for a fair, peaceful and participatory election.
Under the chairmanship of Divisional Commissioner Habibur Rahman, District Commissioner of Dinajpur, Thakurgaon, Panchagarh and Nilphamari District Deputy Commissioner, Superintendent of Police, RAB and BGB, besides Upazila Executive Officer, Upazila Election Officer, Officer-in-Charge of Police Station attended the meeting.
