The Awami League Parliamentary Nomination Board meeting is going on for the second day. Awami League President Sheikh Hasina presided over the board members.
Earlier, the ruling party’s Parliamentary Nomination Board meeting was held on Thursday (November 23). On this day, the nomination board has finalized the candidates for 72 constituencies of Rangpur and Rajshahi divisions.
It is known that the party nominations of Barisal and Khulna divisions will be finalized in the first phase today. The board will finalize the nominations of Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions in the second phase after the midday break.
After that the candidates of the rest of the categories will be finalized successively. The three-day Awami League Parliamentary Nomination Board meeting is scheduled to end on Saturday. Through this, the list of candidates for the 12th parliamentary election will be finalized.
