At the National Film Awards 2022, Farzeena Akhtar received a special award in the category of child actress for the movie ‘Kura Pakhir Zhunne Uda’. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina gave him the award on Tuesday (November 14). Universal Medical College Hospital gave educational support to awardee Farzeena.
Farzina is a class 1 student of Jaipur Government Primary School, Tahirpur, Sunamganj. Farzina is a child of a poor family. They had to sell their house due to lack. Since then they live in different houses. Farzeena’s father is a farmer.
One of Farzeena’s words has gone viral on social media, ‘I have come to Dhaka to get the award. Will also give us money. I will build a house with that money. We have no home.’
The words of the award-winning child artist came to the notice of the Universal Medical College Hospital. Later Universal Medical College Hospital gave him a grant of 50 thousand rupees.
Dr. Ashish Kumar Chakraborty, the managing director of the hospital and a member of the Bangladesh Awami League’s health and population central sub-committee, said Farzina’s father Md. Talked to Sayem Mia and delivered the money.
