The Election Commission headed by Kazi Habibul Awal has held a meeting to decide the polling day for the 12th National Assembly elections. A few polling dates are being discussed. From these dates will be determined when the polling will be held. In addition, in this meeting of the Election Commission, the deadline for submission of nomination papers, last day for selection, withdrawal and voting date for the upcoming national elections will be finalized.
On Wednesday (November 15) before 5 pm, the Election Commission held a meeting regarding the upcoming 12th National Assembly election schedule. The meeting is being held in the office of the Chief Election Commissioner.
After the meeting, Chief Election Commissioner Kazi Habibul Awal will announce the schedule through an address to the nation on BTV after 7 pm. A four-page speech has also been prepared for this purpose.
Election Commissioner Brigadier General (Retd.) Md. Ahsan Habib Khan, Rasheda Sultana, Md. Alamgir and Md. Anishur Rahman and EC Secretary Md. Jahangir Alam is present.
